2400 A.D. is a 1988 DOS role-playing game developed by Origin Systems and designed by Chuck Bueche. Set in the post-apocalyptic city of Metropolis on planet XK-120, the game follows a member of the underground resistance fighting against robotic oppressors known as the Tzorgs. The gameplay is similar to the Ultima series, featuring top-down exploration, real-time combat, and interaction with NPCs. The objective is to infiltrate the Tzorg Authority Complex and disable the robots' central control system.
