Alex Marok's Horror Show is a distinctive Doom mod from 1996, created by Italian developer Marok. While retaining the original Doom maps, the mod overhauls the game's aesthetics by replacing all textures, music, sound effects, and monsters (even Barney). Notably, it features custom voice recordings from Marok and his friends, adding a personal and humorous touch to the gameplay. The mod also incorporates elements from other WADs, such as AlienDoom. Although intended as a beta, it remains a unique example of 90s modding culture
