The Exterminator

The Exterminator is a 1983 MS-DOS arcade-style shooter developed by Windmill Software. As a clone of Atari's Centipede, the game features a top-down perspective where players control a droid tasked with eliminating descending centipede-like creatures and other insects before they reach the bottom of the screen. The game utilizes Windmill's distinctive 16-color CGA graphics, offering vibrant visuals for its time. Despite its similarities to Centipede, The Exterminator introduced unique elements, such as different insect types and obstacles, providing a fresh take on the classic gameplay.
