Gang Wars is a 1989 arcade beat 'em up developed by Alpha Denshi and published by SNK. Set in New York City, players assume the roles of martial artists Mike and Jackie, battling through crime-infested streets to rescue a kidnapped woman and dismantle a criminal syndicate. The game features side-scrolling action with a pseudo-3D perspective, allowing movement in multiple directions, and includes various weapons and power-ups to aid in combat.
