Skunny: Save Our Pizzas! is a 1993 shareware platformer developed and published by Copysoft for MS-DOS. Part of the Skunny series, the game features Skunny the squirrel on a time-traveling mission to ancient Rome to thwart an evil chef's plan to destroy the invention of pizza and replace it with a subpar imitation. Players navigate side-scrolling levels, jumping on Roman legionnaires and collecting items to progress.
The game is notable for its unique distribution method: in Australia, the pizza franchise Silvio's Pizza (which was later acquired by Domino's) included the game on a 3.5" floppy disk with large pizza orders. This marketing strategy made the game a nostalgic favorite among Australian gamers.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse.
